The Great Outward is a cosy and snug upside-down home ideal for couples. It’s located near Salcombe in the Great Devon National Landscape protected area, and is tucked away in a forest setting. In fact, there’s a short walk (36 steps, to be precise!) from the parking area to the front door.
With it being an upside-down home, the bedroom and bathroom facilities are on the ground floor, while the living area, which comes with a wood burner, is on the first floor. There’s also a terrace accessible from the living area that offers great views and is a great space for unwinding after a day of exploring.
The property is tastefully decorated throughout and comes with everything a couple would need for a relaxing stay. A great choice for two people who want a romantic getaway and are keen to try a rather different type of accommodation.
The Great Outward might have a remote location, but it’s still close enough to some of the many top sights and attractions in Devon. Take time to explore the coastline and discover the many fine beaches that the area is known for. Also, head inland and visit some of the many farms and zoos situated throughout the area. Dartmoor National Park is a must for nature lovers and outdoor enthusiasts, while the towns of Torquay, Paignton and others on the English Riviera are well worth a visit.
