Description

Garstang Retreats is a collection of just two lodges in an idyllic countryside setting just outside the town of Garstang in Lancashire.

It’s a peaceful park where guests can bask in the surrounding scenery and make the most of quiet, relaxing downtime.

Both lodges have a private outdoor space, with furniture and Hot tub.

If you’re a part of a larger group, you can book the two lodges together, providing they’re both available.

 

Both of the lodges at Garstang Retreats are two-bedroom properties that can sleep a maximum of four people. They’re ideal for a small family who want to stay somewhere that immerses them in nature while still offering all the home comforts.

There’s a master bedroom and a twin room, along with an open-plan living, kitchen and dining area complete with an electric fire. The kitchen is equipped with everything you need to make fresh meals and prepare snacks.

In the living area is located a wall-mounted, 75-inch smart TV, so you can watch your favourite shows and movies.

Outside, you’ll find a good-sized patio area with furniture and a hot tub for you to unwind in after a long day.

 

Guests staying here have a wealth of attractions within easy reach. Head east and you’ll soon reach the Forest of Bowland National Landscape, a sprawling protected forest with gorgeous scenery and plenty of opportunities for outdoor pursuits. Travel west and visit Blackpool, a seaside resort with popular tourist attractions such as the Pleasure Beach theme park, Blackpool Tower and Blackpool Zoo.

There are also two cities well worth a visit – Lancaster in the north and Preston in the south – each of which has plenty of shops, bars, restaurants and cultural sights and experiences for you to discover.

Coniston Launch – Coniston Water is where the world’s water speed record was broken no fewer than four times by Donald Campbell between 1956 and 1959; it’s also where he tragically died during a record attempt. Book a cruise with Coniston Launch and learn more about this famous lake.

Browsholme Hall – Located in the Forest of Bowland, Browsholme Hall dates back over 500 years and is surrounded by beautiful parkland and forest scenery. Pay a visit and learn about its long and colourful history.
