Bryntirion Lodge was once a gatehouse but is now a stylish and comfortable lodge. The village of Y Felinheli is a short walk away and the Isle of Anglesey is less than ten minutes away. The lodge is ideally placed for anyone looking to explore the island or the northern part of mainland Wales.
Though the building dates back to 1863, the lodge as it is today is fully equipped with all the amenities today’s travellers could need. For example, there’s Wi-Fi throughout and there are four TVs in total – two of these are smart TVs with built-in DVD players. There are three bedrooms – two doubles and a twin – and one of them is an en-suite, while there’s an additional shower room as well. When the weather’s favourable, guests can relax outdoors in the patio and lawn area, which comes with some comfortable garden furniture.
There are many worthwhile attractions and places that aren’t too far away from the lodge. The Isle of Anglesey is home to delightful villages, stunning coastal walks, Celtic remains and hidden beaches. Then there’s Snowdonia National Park (also known as Eryri National Park), which is where you’ll find Snowdon, the highest mountain in Wales. There’s also Zip World, a fun and thrilling activity centre featuring the world’s fastest zip line.
