Home // Locations // Scotland // Campsie Glen, Stirlingshire

Nestled in the rolling countryside of Stirlingshire is Campsie Glen, a peaceful and tranquil holiday park. Surrounded by open, green fields and large hills, it’s a picturesque base for people looking to explore the lands north of Glasgow. It’s earned a five-star rating and has even been voted ‘Best Value Accommodation in Scotland’ at the Sola Awards in 2019.

This family-friendly resort has several types of accommodation available to book. There are lodges with hot tubs and caravans (some of which have hot tubs), along with glamping pods and touring pitches with all the necessary amenities. All of the accommodation options here are designed to make your stay comfortable and convenient. The lodges are well equipped with all the mod cons and their decor is easy on the eye, while the glamping pods are cosy and snug.

When you stay here, you’ll have plenty of Scotland’s top attractions within driving distance. For starters, there’s the city of Glasgow where you’ll find a host of museums, galleries and theatres, not to mention public parks and vibrant bars and restaurants. There’s also Loch Lomond, which stretches for 27.5 miles and is surrounded by stunning natural scenery. Many people visit the town of Balloch on the loch’s southern tip and go on cruises to see more of the loch in person.
