Enjoying a rural location, Ty Log is a great choice for a getaway in South Wales.
There are two other homes onsite, but they’re arranged in such a way that Ty Log is very much separate from them and offers all the privacy you could ask for.
Ty Log has a wonderful Welsh countryside setting, yet the nearest village is less than ten minutes away by car.
Stand-out features of Ty Log include its traditional wood panelling, floor-to-ceiling windows, monochromatic colour scheme, and a mezzanine designed to be a comfortable snug.
The property is designed to be a modern version of a cabin in the woods, combining a woodland location with all the modern conveniences and amenities you need for a successful self-catering trip.
It has two bedrooms and bathrooms, plus an open-plan living, dining and kitchen area, all of which are on the ground floor.
Outside there’s a well-manicured garden and open ponds.
During your stay here, take time to visit Carmarthen, which is said to be Wales’s oldest town. The indoor market is open six days a week and has a wide range of stalls selling locally made food, drink, arts and crafts, gifts and more.
Throughout Carmarthenshire, you’ll find well-preserved castles from many hundreds of years ago, picturesque beaches, quaint villages and wildlife parks. Learn about the area’s history, see its captivating landscapes on hikes and make the most of its activity centres where you can practise a hobby or try a new one.
