25 Thirlmere is set on the highly regarded White Cross Bay Holiday Park, Lake Windermere. Situated close to the village of Troutbeck Bridge, this  delightful cabin offers a peaceful retreat in the heart of the Lake District. Sleeping up to four guests and welcoming two dogs, the lodge offers modern comforts with a fantastic location. With a private hot tub, spacious decking and access to excellent on-site amenities, 25 Thirlmere is a perfect base for couples, friends or families looking to unwind and explore the Lake District in style.

Step inside and you’ll immediately walk into a spacious and bright open-plan living space, complete with excellent furnishings, an electric fire and large windows that bring the outdoors in. The stylish kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need, ideal for easy holiday dining. Two comfortable sofas in the seating area invite you to curl up with a good book or enjoy movie nights on the TV, while the dining area is perfect for family meals or lazy breakfasts before a day exploring the area.

After a day of engaging in lakeside activities, you can retreat to one of the three beautifully furnished bedrooms consisting of a king-size with en-suite walk-in shower, and two charming twin bedrooms.

Outside, the private decking wraps around the lodge and provides a tranquil setting with woodland views for al fresco dining, or relaxing in your private hot tub. When it comes to dining, you’re spoilt for choice, with plenty of food and drink options nearby.

  • Excellent Privacy: Guests frequently note that this specific lodge feels much more private than others on the park, thanks to surrounding trees blocking the view of adjacent units. 
  • Prime Location: It sits in a quiet cul-de-sac but is only a 5-minute stroll to the Lake Windermere marina and shoreline. 
  • High-End Decor: The interior is widely praised for being exceptionally modern, bright, spacious, and beautifully presented. 
  • Private Hot Tub: The wrap-around decked veranda features a sunken private hot tub, which reviewers state is well-maintained and at the perfect temperature
The Negatives
  • Accessibility Constraints: There are steps leading up to the lodge and 3 steps from the driveway to the front path with no handrail. It is not fully wheelchair accessible. 
  • Unenclosed Veranda: Dog owners note that the wrap-around veranda is completely open, meaning pets cannot be left unattended outside. 
  • Intermittent Signal: Because of the rural Lake District setting, a few guests have experienced occasional drop-outs with the park's Wi-Fi network.
