Northumberland is the least-densely populated county in England, which makes it an ideal holiday destination for anyone after somewhere peaceful and quiet. If you choose to visit the county, a great place to stay is Bockenfield Country Park near Felton. It’s just off the A1 and is a short drive from the coast.
The lodges at the park are individually styled and presented, with each one having its own name and identity. Whichever one you stay in, you’re bound to have a wonderful time. Each of the lodges is designed to a high standard and looks appealing both on the outside and the inside. There’s plenty of space, thanks in part to the open-plan design, with an outdoor decking area giving you even more room to unwind and take it easy. The furnishings are of high quality and there are plenty of amenities provided.
When you stay at Bockenfield Country Park, make the most of your time and discover what makes Northumberland such a lovely place to visit. Explore the coast, wind down at one of the many fine beaches and visit charming seaside towns. There are also many well-preserved castles that are worth seeing, such as Alnwick, Bamburgh and Walkworth.
