Clifftop Dream is a stylish, snazzy and ultra-modern home that made an appearance on the TV show Grand Designs in 2014. It also featured in “I’m a Celebrity Get Me Out of Here”, in 2021, where a number of the celebrity contestants met up.
It’s about as modern as can be, with its impressive architectural design, and huge floor to ceiling windows.
As its name suggests, it is situated on a clifftop and lies just outside the coastal town of Criccieth, in North West Wales.
The property looks very impressive from the outside, and the inside it’s kitted out with all the modern conveniences and home comforts. The decor is stylish throughout and there’s plenty of space in all of the rooms.
There are three bedrooms and bathrooms, and comfortably accommodates six people . When it’s time to unwind, run a bath and take in views of the sea or curl up on a comfortable settee in the living area.
When you choose Clifftop Dream, you’ll get the best of both worlds. You get to stay in a peaceful home that’s fully equipped, and also have lots of wonderful attractions within driving distance. Nearby there’s Criccieth Castle, which lies on a rocky headland and is a spectacular sight to see. Further away there’s the Llyn Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty in the west and Eryri National Park in the east. Both of them are ideal for nature lovers, wildlife enthusiasts and fans of outdoor pursuits.

Visit Eryri National Park – During your stay at Clifftop Dream, you should take some time to explore Eryri National Park, which is the largest protected area in Wales. It’s characterised by its towering mountain peaks and sprawling valleys. There are lots of outdoor activities and recreation opportunities throughout the park.
Ffestiniog & Welsh Highland Railways – Set off on a pleasant steam train ride along 14 miles of track that takes you through rural Welsh countryside. The trains climb over 700 feet on their journey, which gives you the chance to see some of Wales’ most breath taking landscapes.
Inigo Jones Slateworks – This is a slate production facility that’s been in operation since 1861. Pay a visit and learn about the site’s fascinating history and how important slate has been for the local area.
China Palace – Located in Criccieth, this restaurant’s menu features dishes from all over China and has lots of drinks to accompany them.
Dylan’s Criccieth – Another Criccieth restaurant that’s worth visiting for a meal is Dylan’s, which offers seafood and other types of food. It’s set in a beautifully preserved art deco-style building and has lovely sea views.
Tafarn Pencei – A pleasant cafe and bar located right by the harbour in Porthmadog. It serves food from Wednesday to Sunday and has a delectable range of popular dishes on its menu.
