Ride on the train from Llanberis to the summit of Yr Wyddfa (Snowdon), go surfing, abseiling, climbing or enjoy one of the hundreds of suggested walks in this area of stunning beauty. In the opposite direction and another beautiful drive away is the North Wales coast and its spectacular beaches.
For those wishing to stay closer, you will find the historic market towns of Ruthin and Denbigh, Bala, Corwen and the world-famous Llangollen railway and canal within 15 miles, boasting shops, cafés and local art and craft shops. The National Trust’s Gaol in Ruthin, Chirk Castle, and Craft Centre are all perfect for a family day out too!
