Oak Park Lodges, Shillingford

Oak Park Lodges are a small collection of two lodges. Both of them are lovely, single-storey properties that can comfortably accommodate a family or group of friends. They’re located in the village of Shillingford, which lies two miles northeast of Bampton.

Each of the two lodges is well designed throughout. On the outside, they’re easy on the eye. On the inside, they’re just as attractive and are fitted out with plenty of modern conveniences. There are three bedrooms: a double, a twin and a second double with an en suite. Every bedroom has its own TV and there’s a fourth TV in the open-plan living area. All the necessary kitchen amenities are supplied and the dining area has more than enough room to sit everyone. As many as six people can comfortably sleep in either lodge.

Those who stay here have easy access to several protected areas. These include the Blackdown Hills, Exmoor National Park and Quantock Hills. All of these are suitable places to visit for anyone who enjoys being at one with nature and seeing more of southwest England’s serene landscapes.
