Description

Situated in a wonderful countryside location, near to the River Sprint in Garnett Bridge, The Owl’s Shack is a beautiful detached lodge offering a peaceful escape. It’s within easy reach of the Lake District National Park and surrounded by rolling fields and open fells, making it the ideal retreat for families or friends dreaming of a relaxing stay, with a touch of luxury and the comfort of modern living.

Inside the lodge, the space opens up into an open plan living area where contemporary design meets rustic charm. Underfloor heating and a woodburning stove create a warm and inviting atmosphere, making it perfect for unwinding after a day exploring the area. Head back and sink into the seating area with a film on the TV, or gather around the dining table for relaxed evenings filled with good food and conversation. The kitchen is exceptionally well equipped, making self-catering a pleasure. If you want a break from cooking for yourself, there’s a range of traditional pubs and popular restaurants dotted throughout the Lake District.

The three bedrooms provide calm and comfortable spaces to rest. There’s two king size bedrooms - which have their own ensuite shower rooms - and a bunk bedroom featuring adult sized beds, making it suitable for both children and adults. The Owl’s Shack also has a beautifully finished family bathroom with a bath, which adds an extra touch of indulgence. If you want to soak up the fresh air, step outside and you’ll find an enclosed garden with decking and a barbecue, perfect for dining alfresco while soaking up the sweeping countryside views.
