Not many people can say they’ve spent a night in a former reservoir. If you’re keen to stay somewhere unique and you’re thinking of visiting Devon, consider booking Woolbrook Reservoir. Well concealed amongst the surrounding natural features, this one-of-a-kind property has been expertly repurposed into the modern, well-equipped holiday home it is today. It lies in a Sidmouth suburb and is tucked away from other houses in the vicinity.
The property can sleep up to 16 people, making it an ideal choice for large groups and families. Where better to spend quality time together or have a long-awaited reunion than in a place as impressive as this? A considerable amount of care has been taken to make Woolbrook Reservoir as suitable as possible. It’s kitted out with plenty of modern conveniences and has all the fixtures and fittings you’d expect from a luxury property. It also comes with plenty of entertainment features to keep younger ones occupied. Circular in design, it has five bedrooms on the first floor along with three bathrooms and stairs leading up to the roof garden. On the ground floor, there’s the sixth bedroom plus an atrium, a kitchen/dining area, a games room and a gym.
Woolbrook Reservoir is conveniently placed for exploring Devon. Head to central Sidmouth and make the most of its coastal location by visiting the beach. The larger, more cosmopolitan city of Exeter isn’t too far away and has a wide range of shops, restaurants, bars and attractions to check out. In the city and close by, for example, are various parks, nature reserves, museums and activity centres.
