Whitsand Bay Fort, Torpoint

Whitsand Bay Fort is a collection of lodges in southeast Cornwall. They overlook the gorgeous Whitsand Bay, which is known for its high clifftops, its lengthy beach and its dramatic coastal scenery. The resort is so-called because it stands on the grounds of an old fort that was used to defend the area from the French Navy during the era of Napoleon. A lot of care has been taken to preserve the ruins and other historic features that are scattered throughout the site. 

The lodges here are spacious and stylish. They’re well furnished throughout and have tasteful decor. Each one is full of charm and has all the amenities you could need for a comfortable, hassle-free stay.
