The Boathouse, Sandbanks

Boathouse is a stylish and well-presented home designed with the residences of New England in mind. It’s located in the centre of Sandbanks, a particularly affluent suburb of Poole that’s on a peninsula. Its setting is peaceful and tranquil, making it a great option for anyone after a quiet base from which to explore Poole, Bournemouth and the rest of Dorset.

The property is spacious and tastefully decorated throughout. It comes equipped with all the amenities and facilities you could need for a comfortable, hassle-free stay. There are four bedrooms – one on the ground floor and the other three on the first floor – with the master bedroom including an ensuite bathroom. The kitchen has all the essentials and the living room comes with enough furniture for everyone to relax. Outside, there’s a decking area complete with tables and chairs. You’ll also find an outdoor shower that comes in handy when you’ve been at the beach – the nearest one is just a short walk away.

The Watersports Academy – You’ll find this watersports centre at the nearby Sandbanks Hotel. Adults and children alike can learn some exciting watersports and practise them out on the waters around Poole. Windsurfing, power boating, kayaking and sailing are among the activities available here.

Farmer Palmer’s Farm Park – If you prefer to stay on dry land, head to this family-friendly working farm. It’s just outside of Poole and is easily accessible. Young children and their families can see many different farm animals and learn all about them. https://www.farmerpalmers.co.uk
