The Stable House, Poole
The Stable House is located on the Palmers Farm estate in Organford. A fabulous Victorian property that dates back to the 1800s, it originally functioned as a stable, housing the farm’s horses, and as a hay store. It wasn’t until the 1990s that it was converted into the home that you can stay in today. While it comes with all the modern conveniences you would need for a comfortable stay, it also retains plenty of original features and touches. A prime example is the abundance of exposed brickwork that gives the property character.
The property is set over two floors. There are four bedrooms in total and together they accommodate eight people. The decor is tasteful and contemporary throughout. Unlike most other accommodation options, the kitchen and living area are on the first floor. All of the rooms offer scenic views of the estate with its beautifully presented lawns lined with trees.
You’ll find The Stable House in Organford, a hamlet located a short drive from the centre of Poole. It lies on the same estate as Farmer Palmer’s Farm Park, where children aged 8 and under and their families can learn all about farm animals. The city of Poole is well within reach and has plenty of worthwhile attractions to discover. Explore the historic centre, hit the shops and try some of the many restaurants, cafes and bars the city is home to. Go on a ferry ride to visit nearby islands or head further afield and let your hair down at Splashdown Water Park, which has many exciting water slides to conquer.
