Orchard Cottage, Spilsby

This splendid self-catering holiday home lies within the parklands of Gunby Hall and used to function as the gardener’s cottage. Nowadays, it welcomes travellers from near and far who are looking for a comfortable and enjoyable getaway. When staying here, you can make use of the cottage’s private enclosed garden and explore the estate’s other gardens at your leisure. You can even visit the main house free of charge.

Orchard Cottage is a delightful abode that you’ll surely find suitable for a self-catering holiday. It’s cosy and quaint, though it has plenty of room for up to four people. There are two bedrooms – a double and a twin – along with a dining room, kitchen, shower room and living room with an open fire. The ceilings are quite low, though this shouldn’t be too much of an issue for most visitors. 

Be sure to explore the Gunby Hall estate during your stay here. You should also spend some time out in the Lincolnshire Wolds. This large protected area is known for its unspoiled landscapes, rolling hills and scenic valleys. Discover its many natural features, make the most of the outdoor pursuits you can practise here and stop by some of the friendly villages that are dotted throughout the area. Outside the protected area, you’ll find more than enough attractions to keep you entertained. Have fun at amusement parks, learn a thing or two at museums and head to the coast for a good time at the beach.
