The Merrick lodge is a beautiful detached lodge on a holiday park near Colvend and Sandyhills Bay. It is situated on the Solway Coast providing stunning views. The lodge sleeps up to six guests and is a perfect base to explore Scotland or simply relax and unwind.
Merrick lodge is spread across two floors with an open plan living, dining and kitchen area. The rooms have french doors leading out to the decked terrace where guests can enjoy a morning coffee or evening glass of wine soaking up the beautiful views. On the ground floor, there is a twin bedroom and bathroom. The first floor has a king-size double bedroom with en-suite shower room and balcony with amazing views over the loch. There is also another double room on the first floor with a shower room. Sleeping up to six guests, this lodge is perfect for a family or group of friends wanting a great base for exploring the area.
Guests staying at this lodge can access the communal lawn area as well as the restaurant, bar and fishing loch. Next to the lodge park, there is a deer park which is a fun activity for the whole family. Visit the nearby coastline for a day at the beach or travel a little further and visit Dumfries, a large market town with lots of shops, cafes and activities for everyone to enjoy.
