Tucked away in the heart of the Yorkshire Dales is Brompton Lakes, a beautiful collection of luxury lodges where you can get away from it all and enjoy a relaxing, memorable break. 

Set within a natural retreat 26 acres in size,  the 21 lodges are located around two lakes. The River Swale snakes around the western and southern parts of the park, and there’s plenty of woodland in the vicinity too. Some of the on-site facilities include a games area with boules, a tennis court and complimentary bike hire.

The lodges here have been carefully designed to blend in with their natural surroundings. They look fabulous from the outside, and when you step inside you’ll appreciate the luxurious contemporary interiors . 

Providing a spacious open plan living area, with all the amenities and necessities for a relaxing and memorable stay. Most of the lodges belong to the Type A or Type B categories; and although they are very similar, they differ in the arrangement of the rooms and the patio. 

However Lodge Twenty One, is the largest lodge with six bedrooms and four bathrooms and comes with both a hot tub and BBQ facilities. 

During your stay here, you can take advantage of the free bike hire for cycling, or enjoy the scenic walking trails on foot. You should also make the most of your location and discover Yorkshire’s many attractions. This is a great location to discover both the Yorkshire Dales National Park and the North York Moors National Park,

The Yorkshire Dales – This stunning national park is not too far from Brompton Lakes, so you can easily spend as much time as you like discovering its rugged landscapes, visiting its idyllic settlements and learning a thing or two about its intriguing history.

Lightwater Valley – If you’re travelling with young children, spend a day at this family-friendly park and make memories to last a lifetime. It has a host of fun, exciting attractions your kids will no doubt love.

The North York Moors – Another national park that’s easily accessible from Brompton Lakes is the North York Moors. Go on a drive and check out the park’s incredible coastline, captivating countryside landscapes and rolling hills. It’s been protected since 1952 and is perhaps best known for its pine forests and heather moorland.
