Bracken Ground, Coniston

The property is a luxurious retreat that can comfortably sleep up to 10 people, and therefore, a superb choice for a large family or group of friends.

There are five bedrooms – an en-suite master, three king-size rooms (one with en-suite) and a twin room. All are tastefully decorated and very spacious.

The communal areas include the kitchen, dining and living area, which comes with a woodburning stove.

The outdoor area is where you’ll find a hot tub, sauna, barbeque and pizza oven.

While Wi-Fi is provided, its availability and speeds can’t be guaranteed because of the property’s remote location.

Also, note that there’s an unfenced pond right in front of Bracken Ground; any children staying here should be supervised at all times.

Bracken Ground is an excellent choice for a large group visiting the Lake District to have fun, spend time together and make memories that will last a lifetime. It’s a great base for exploring the much-loved national park. There are a vast array of outdoor activities that are available here; hiking, paddleboarding, cycling and sailing are just a few examples. Coniston Launch – Head to Coniston Water, the third-largest lake by volume in the region, and book a cruise. This famous body of water is where the world’s water speed record was broken four times by Donald Campbell between 1956 and 1959.
