Walker’s Retreat Lodge, Windermere

Walker's Retreat Lodge is set in the peaceful Limefitt Park in the delightful village of Troutbeck and offers a lovely retreat for up to four guests. Situated in the heart of the Lake District National Park, this single storey lodge backs onto woodland with fabulous valley views.

With off-road parking, decking areas to front and side and garden furniture, Walker's Retreat Lodge is the perfect base for a peaceful self-catered getaway.

Step inside and you’ll immediately see the well designed open plan living space with a separate fully equipped kitchen. There is a dining area and comfortable sitting area; with TV and DVD player. The master bedroom has a king size bed and there is a ‘Jack and Jill’ door leading into the main bathroom which doubles as the en suite; this features a full size bath overhead shower, toilet and sink. The second bedroom has two full size twin beds and the hallway leads off to an additional WC. There are modern comforts throughout the lodge including central heating, wi-fi, bed linen and towels. 

There’s no shortage of excellent dining options close by, if you fancy a break from self-catering. There’s a dog-friendly pub on site, while the surrounding villages and towns offer a wide selection of pubs, cafés and restaurants.
